Thursday June 17th Settle Down Easy Brewing will co-host a Tap Takeover at the Corner Office, at the W DC!
Meet owner Frank who has been in the Hospitality Industry for the past 20 years staring in Hotel Operations and working his way to the position of Regional Director of Sales. A seasoned hospitality industry veteran, Frank and his staff open the largest hotels in Arizona, the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel. During his tenure as an industry leader with Starwood, Frank held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing at four different locations from 2009 – 2014. Frank joined Marriott to oversee the sales effort of 6 hotels in the west end of Washington DC. In 2019 he moved to the US Account Leader and was responsible for $200 million in sales revenue, leading a team of 16 managers. Frank specializes in sales organization, building successful sales teams, new brand development, and sales strategies a skillset that is a significant benefit to SDE Brewing Co. Responsibilities include oversight of product quality control, brewing operations, on-premise sales strategies and distribution.
Frank had a passion for Craft Beverage dating back to 2004 when he purchased is first home-brew kit. This passion evolved and grew over the years into a successful hobby and side project that introduced him to his two business partners Jimmy and Chip. During 2020 and at the height of COVID, Frank’s position was eliminated at Marriott. Looking at this an an opportunity, Frank decided to make Settle Down Easy Brewing his singular focus and devoted all of his attention to growing and running the brewery.
In the fall, Frank will rejoin George Mason University as an adjunct Facility Professor and help launch a Craft Beverage minor at the University. Our goal is to leverage the vast landscape of Breweries, Wineries, Distilleries and Venues so to connect graduating students to these emerging establishments.
Married to his high school sweetheart Misty, an elementary school teacher for Fairfax Co. Schools. They have 2 children Toby (16) and Mackenzie (14) and reside in Oakton and love watching their children play lacrosse!

With art being a major theme throughout the design of the space, Corner Office’s beer garden features an expansive mural by local artist Mike Tanoory, that highlights the hotel’s motto of “Crossing the Party Line” with the Republican Elephant and Democratic Donkey enjoying pizza and beer amongst other animals. Inside, guests are met with a mural that pays tribute to Go-Go music, D.C.’s native iconic blend of blues, funk and old school hip-hop. Created in collaboration with renowned local artists Gaia and Aniekan Udofia, the mural infuses color in the underground space and firmly connects Corner Office to its home city.
